Job Description The Sales Consultant contactspotential customers to provide them with Prosper, Inc. products services, and informationin a way which will lead to the sales of Prosper Inc.’s products and services.



Key Responsibilities

Represent Prosper, Inc. in a professional and ethical manner. Adhere to approved sales techniques and processes in dealing with potential customers. Communicate effectively with other team members and departments.

Tasks and WorkActivities Contact individuals by telephone to offer products and services. Interview and advise potential customers regarding products and services which will best meet their needs. Deliver sales presentations using approved methods in order to persuade potential customers to purchase products or services. Enter orders into computer system. Respond to customer inquiries. Do follow-up on initial sales contacts. Provide customer service.Education and Experience

  Years of Experience: Consultative selling experience preferred but not required. Education: 4 year degree preferred but not required.Skills and Knowledge Required: Superior customer service skills with ability to create and maintain effective relationships with potential customers. Excellent work ethic. Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, adapt and thrive in fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and determination to succeed. Ability to meet quality standards. Basic computer skills in web-based applications. Personal time management skills. Ability to handle sensitive information and issues confidentially and with discretion.Work Context Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Requires sitting for extended periods of time. Includes Repetitive Activities. Ability to lift 20 pounds occasionally. Ability to hear, see and speak clearly. Requires working in close physical proximity to other people. Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls. Requires ability to work in a competitive environment.
