Quantlab is a dynamic, technology-oriented firm engaged in the development and operation of electronic trading systems for its affiliated hedge fund trading and agency execution brokerage operations. Founded in 1998, Quantlab is responsible for a significant share of the daily volume traded in the U.S. and foreign equity markets. With growing operations in futures, currencies and energy, the firm represents an established presence in the high frequency electronic trading field.

To support our current and planned trading systems, we are currently hiring for the role of Quality Assurance Engineer.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Participate as a key member of the software development team
• Maintain and enhance testing infrastructure and procedures
• Participate in production build, deployment and review processes

Qualified candidates will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
• 6+ years experience in software quality engineering
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Understanding of the software development life cycle
• Ability to work within a task-oriented environment
• Excellent documentation, reporting and communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual SourceSafe or AccuRev

Experience of the following is advantageous but not essential:

• Scripting experience within a QA environment
• Experience with trading or other financial systems
