Receptionist/Secretary

Position Description:

KV Pharmaceutical is seeking a Receptionist. As the Receptionist, you will serve as the first point-of-contact between external contacts and the Company by efficiently managing the reception area and switchboard operations including answering incoming calls, handling incoming and outgoing deliveries, and greeting and registering all visitors and contractors. You will provide communication security of all incoming calls, register visitors and contractors who visit the Company’s facility, and assist other departments by providing various administrative and clerical support services. The successful candidate will also work closely with our IT department and outside vendors to install, reconfigure, monitor, troubleshoot, or otherwise maintain the telephone/switchboard system, taking immediate action when the system fails or requires maintenance or diagnostic action.The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years experience in a front desk or customer service role, managing multi-line switchboard operations and simultaneously handling other administrative tasks. Successful completion of secretarial and/or computer courses required. College degree preferred, in Business, Communications, Public Relations, or related area, or equivalent business experience. If you can efficiently operate a multi-line switchboard system, with professional telephone etiquette, have a sense of urgency in expediting calls in a timely manner, and have the ability to professionally handle urgent, disagreeable, or stressful situations with tact and diplomacy apply today.
