Position Overview

The Recruiting Manager is a full-time, salaried position and is a key member of our local office management teams. The Recruiting Manager is responsible for sourcing candidates for management and non-management positions including salaried and hourly Consultants and Directors within our four practice areas (Accounting, Internal Audit, Technology Risk and Tax), as well as Directors of Client Services (sales).The Recruiting Manager also participates in matching candidates’ and employees’ skill sets with client needs, staffing engagements appropriately and building relationships with new hires. This position reports to the local office Managing Director.

Location: Titus Chicago office

 

The Challenge

 

Our Recruiting Managers are responsible for building Titus’ talent base by identifying desirable candidates and maintaining a pipeline of highly-qualified professionals to fill open positions as they become available. This includes the following functions:

 

Ø Sourcing candidates through a variety of venues including:

§ Internet resume posting sites

§ Professional organizations

§ Advertising

§ A personal network of contacts

Ø Introducing candidates to Titus by communicating the firm’s mission, defining beliefs and approach to the marketplace and positioning Titus as a desirable employer

Ø Screening candidates through telephone and face-to-face interviews

Ø Scheduling candidate interviews with other management team members

Ø Leading candidates through the interview/selection process and maintaining communication with them at each step

Ø Creating offer letters

Ø Drafting employee profile

Ø Local networking to build awareness of Titus as an employer

Ø Maintaining a high level of commitment to Titus’ values of honesty, teamwork, better every day and service distinction



 

Success Factors

 

Successful Recruiting Managers have the following experience, education and personal characteristics:

 

Ø Ability to source excellent talent in the Internal Audit, Accounting, Tax and Technology Risk areas for their market

Ø Attend networking events and professional association meetings

Ø Participate in business development discussions, staff scheduling, and presenting written candidate assessments of potential recruits to management

Ø Execute the interview process from initial interview to offer presentation

Ø Ability to excel and deliver in our fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

Ø Bachelor’s degree

Ø Excellent written and communication skills

Ø Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in recruiting

Ø Proven leadership, strong initiative, high energy, very organized, ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
