Manager, Refrigeration Service Program

Management consulting firm in Nassau County, NY seeks Refrigeration Service Program Manager.  This is an opportunity for an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Manager to take the next career step!

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Provides direction and support to HVAC, Refrigeration and E.M.S. contractor operations; Works with customers and vendors regarding recommendations on HVAC, refrigeration, and E.M.S.; Assists with managing vendor performance to ensure standards are being maintained;Analyzes data, researches, develops, recommends and implements cost-saving initiatives;Resolves problems with sites for chain locations;Develops critical external and internal relationships that will promote cost effectiveness and maximize productivity efficiencies.

Qualifications Required:Required:  Minimum five (5) years as a Commercial HVAC and/or Refrigeration Service Manager, with facilities management experience including refrigeration for large retail or restaurant chains;B.S./B.A. or equivalent certification/experience;Working knowledge of commercial building HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair activities (including food service);Strong analytical and management skills;Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
