Regional Account Executive

The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (GPCC) is a regional non-profit business organization with approximately 5,000 members.  We are the largest business association in Pennsylvania and one of the largest Chambers in the United States.  With over 100 people on staff, we provide our members with products, benefits and services to help their businesses thrive.

 

We are currently seeking a results-oriented Regional Account Executive to increase our market penetration in the Greater Philadelphia region through a mix of both inside and outside sales. Regional Account Executives prospect businesses within the region, position GPCC as a solution to business needs, consult with prospects on participation at different levels of membership and close sales. 

 

Responsibilities include: Sell membership packages to businesses in the Greater Philadelphia Region Develop and maintain an active prospect database & lead pipe-line Achieve and surpass set quotas and goals Develop strategies and plans to achieve goals Increase overall sales as well as value per sale Assist with the implementation of targeted sales projects Attend, assist and represent GPCC at networking functions, receptions, business expos and trade shows

 

Qualifications:Bachelors Degree Minimum 3 to 5 years sales experience. Demonstrated record of success selling a service or “intangible” service Proven experience prospecting and generating leads Proven ability to exceed goals Highly effective communication skills Possess excellent interpersonal/written/oral/presentation skills Knowledge of Excel & Microsoft a must Association or non-profit experience a plus

 

Compensation:

$30,000 to $33,000 base

+ Commissions from 25% to 40% of sale

+ Quarterly Bonus Program

First Year Renewals earn Commission of 20% of sale

1st Year Earning Potential $65,000 plus
