Regional Sales Director

Through a resource pool of over 500 interim executives, we offer a full services portfolio across all management disciplines from which we help our clients develop new strategies for growth, mitigate risks, carry out organizational change, manage complex projects or fill business-critical roles currently vacant.
Company is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Orange County/South Los Angeles County Region. This position is based in Orange County and will report to the President.The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for all revenue development in the region, as well as developing strong client relationships and strategic alliances. The position pays a competitive salary plus commissions. This is a tremendous opportunity for an enthusiastic leader who enjoys working with C-level executives.
Job Responsibilities:
* Responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly regional sales goals.
* Maintains and expands customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities.
* Achieves regional sales objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans, financial budgets and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
* Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for the region in support of corporate objectives.
* Recommends new market opportunities by surveying client needs and trends and tracking competitors.
* Assists in the recruitment of additional interim executives from the region.
Skills/Qualifications:
* Results and commission driven individual who requires limited direction.
* 5 or more years of sales experience using consultative sales methodologies.
* Excellent track record of selling to C-level executives.
* Proven ability to generate own leads, follow up on company leads and turn leads into actual sales.
* Demonstrated success in building strategic alliances.
* Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, persuasion and professional skills.
