Retail Merchandiser

This is a Part-Time/Flex-Time position that involves the building of displays, conducting training of employees and attending Grand Openings of a large well-known Home Center chain.  It would include travel in Ohio with travel expenses covered.  Pay scale would range from $14-$25/hour depending on qualifications.  We anticipate approx. 6-9 days/month.
Each time a new store is built or remodeled -  2-3 trips to the store are required.  The first trip would be the building of a display, which would include using small hand tools, such as cordless drills and wrenches and the ability to lift over 60lbs. for short periods of time.  It also involves the ability to work on a ladder.  The second part of this trip would require stocking shelves and the ability to lift 40lbs.The first trip would take approx. 10 hours and may require an overnight stay depending upon distance from home.
The second visit to the store would take place approximately 2 weeks later.  This involves conducting two back-to-back 1-hour product knowledge training seminars.  This would be demonstrating how to use the tools and passing along information about the products they sell.
The third visit to the store would take place approximately 2 weeks after the second visit.  This would be attending the Grand Opening of the new store.  This involves setting up a display table and demonstrating tools for the public as they shop.
