That's why Ernst & Young created Risk Advisory Services (RAS) - a platform that offers a single global approach to meeting clients' full spectrum of risk management needs. Within EY's RAS practice, the ITE Manager participates in and supervises multiple client engagement teams and other related activities. Within the ITE area, engagements focus on helping clients assess, improve and monitor business issues related to the application of information technology. Engagements vary considerably in size and complexity but all aim toward helping to improve IT and business performance. Responsibilities Primary responsibility of the IT Effectiveness Manager is to communicate to the account managers the description of the ITE solution, assist in marketing and selling the solution, and delivering any one of the ITE solution components. Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members. Work with the engagement team and the client to create plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and a strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses the risks inherent in the engagement. Brief the engagement team on the client's IT environment and industry trends. Maintain relationships with client to manage expectations of service, including work products, timing, and deliverables.Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems and their application in various business situations. Communicate as required with engagement team and client management through written correspondence and oral presentations. Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services. Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess what the firm can deliver to serve clients. Ability to travel up to 40% Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline Minimum of 5 years of experience with operating the day-to-day management of application development, architecture and data center services. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience would be acceptable for those holding an applicable graduate degree ITIL processes and understanding of the operating principles of ITIL Competencies across several of the following areas: Governance, Planning & Controls Business Management Liaison / SLA's Performance Measurement / Reporting Enterprise Systems Facilities / Data Center Mgt. IT Service Management Project Management and Prioritization User Support / Help Desk Data Mgt. / Data Quality Organization AssessmentStrong problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills to anticipate client challenges and opportunities Knowledge of IT organizations and their operations in large, Fortune 1000 companies. Understanding of key IT processes including project management, systems development, application development, architecture and data center services Exposure to IT strategy and IT alignment approaches for large companies or the divisions of large organizations Ability to obtain and drive new business through selling individual solutions and bundled services Demonstrated ability to build a relationship in large IT organizations and ability to work with the client to develop solutions to support the business Demonstrated ability to manage portions/work streams of large IT effectiveness engagements Leverage staff appropriately and contribute to staff development Support practice development and intellectual capital development efforts Advanced written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills Excellent leadership, teamwork and client service skills Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment Candidates must hold or be actively pursuing related professional certifications; prefer ITIL, PMI, Systems Management or technical certifications in major system platformsWI-Milwaukee
