Within EY's RAS practice, the Manager participates in and supervises multiple client engagement teams and other related activities. Engagements focus on helping clients assess, improve and monitor business issues related to the application of information technology. Engagements vary considerably in size and complexity but all aim toward helping to improve IT and business performance. Responsibilities The Manager - SAP Specialist brings a specialized focus to the traditional Manager role. Specifically, this function serves as a project leader focused on architecting solutions using SAP to achieve a defined business outcome. Responsibilities include SAP process design and configuration, SAP design, development, integration, testing and deployment, and SAP technical architecture. The incumbent will integrate technical and application components to meet business requirements and participate in designing the framework of a technical infrastructure, including network, platforms and servers, enterprise enabling, application enabling, security and operations management. Facilitate advisory services to clients focused on design, coding and testing program modules that meet design specifications. Creating, executing and documenting the tests necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets performance requirements (technical, functional and user interface). Participate in identifying configuration changes to applications so that they meet business process requirements. Participate in implementing all actions required to deploy an application; assisting in ensuring that the application meets both technical and business needs. Define the characteristics, capabilities, inputs, outputs, and results necessary to describe the required functionality of a system, software application, network, training course, user interface or any other technology or product. Assist in identifying, analyzing, mitigating and responding to project and operational risks. Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems and their application in various business situations. Communicate as required with engagement team and client management through written correspondence and oral presentations. Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services. Ability to travel up to 40% Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering or a related discipline Minimum of 5 years experience working as a business analyst, business architect or technologist. For those holding a graduate degree, 4 years of relevant experience is acceptable Strong problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills to anticipate client challenges and opportunities Demonstrated project management skills Ability to obtain and drive new business through selling individual solutions and bundled services Leverage staff appropriately and contribute to staff development Support practice development and intellectual capital development efforts Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills Leadership, teamwork and client service skills Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment Candidates must hold or be actively pursuing related professional certificationsSecurity candidates:Experience designing and building SAP security roles in R/3, ECC, BW and HR Experience with role change management and role transport Experience with defining, documenting and testing Segregation of Duties Experience defining, documenting and testing access to sensitive objects and transactions Experience with Super User account tracking and monitoring Experience with SAP security monitoring tools (Virsa / GRC / Approva) 3 or more full cycle SAP implementations (can include multiple waves for which security has been designed and implemented) Experience in gathering access requirements for new security build MI-Detroit
