Route Sales/Service Associate - Portable Fire Extinguishers

During the training period associates will be required to pass the Ohio State Certification Exam to obtain their license.Associates will be assigned a geographic route and will be required to service the Silco customers within that route. Specific responsibilities include:

  Annual Inspection of fire extinguishers Transportation of fire extinguishers requiring service Sales of new fire extinguishers and other Silco services within existing accounts Prospecting and selling new accounts

 

 

Minimum Job Requirements

  Excellent communication skills Previous route sales/service experience preferred Ability to lift and carry fire extinguishers (mostly weighing 15-45 lbs) throughout the day Successfully passing state exam during initial training period Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English High school diploma or GED Valid Drivers License with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report Successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening and background check

 

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation packages are among the best in the industry and are commission based, rewarding hard working people for their efforts. Potential compensation for the first year is $30,000 to $45,000, with the potential for top performers to earn much more in subsequent years.
