SEM Microscopist

Responsibilities for this role include preparing samples, obtaining images and EDS spectra, interpreting data, and communicating with the clients.  The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic and has a strong sense of ownership for the laboratory's work.

 

This position requires a solid technical foundation, and a minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in SEM.  A BS degree in Material Science, Chemistry or related field is required, MS degree preferred.  Essential are excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken), a good work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines in a team oriented environment.  You must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
