This great opportunity has an open Pay rate depending on experience.Provides primary support to sales and account management in the preparation of orders, pricing, proposals, contract changes and modifications. Develops moderately complex sales proposals. Assists in review of RFI/RFQ/RFP's and develops information to support proposal development. Secondary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and change orders. Assists with financial and profitability analysis. Assists with development and reconciliation of sales forecasts. Assists with development of budgets. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least two years related experience. Process quote requests from Account Managers within 24 hours.Maintain order/project trackers for each Account Manager. Each tracker must updated with latest info in time for its Core-3 meeting. Each tracker must be updated with the latest available quotes, PO numbers, SAP numbers, invoicing activities (value, date, and number).Work with Project Manager and Project Controllers to know when and what will be invoiced and have been invoiced.Review the PO confirmation report issued by C3 on a daily basis.Make sure that each PO number on the PO confirmation report is processed timely.This is particularly important at month-end and quarter-end. Any unprocessed POs should be accounted and reported to management as there's a possibility thatFinance can accrue manually. Work closely with A/R manager and Cingular finance to resolve any A/R issues.Work closely with Plano Invoice Coordinator to ensure invoice accuracy and timeliness. Establish relationships with all involved individuals from DIM, C3, COD, COM, Account Receivable, Finance, Project Controllers, Project Management, and especially Cingular Finance. Should try to make face-to-face visits either monthly (Pleasanton) or quarterly (Plano).Attend all Core-3 meetings and take MoM.Understand Cingular Oracle system relating to our quotes, their requisition approval process, invoicing requirements, etc.Work with Project Controllers and Project Managers on backlog.Maintain separate tracker for all hardware only orders.Be able to provide financial updates to the Sales team at least on a monthly basis anticipated revenue = backlog + hardware tracker + quote in process + opportunities in discussion. Be familiar, at least at hi-level, with our contract terms relating to delivery, pricing, warranty, invoicing, etc.Maintain constant communication with Plano to ensure that the West is familiar and comply with any process changes.
