Opportunity Summary:
The Sales Analyst has primary responsibility for managing the pricing strategy and the compensation model. This individual will be a key member of the sales team, and will work closely with the sales executives to support their needs.

Essential Job Functions:
The Sales Analyst will have the following key responsibilities, all of which will be conducted in conjunction with LRN Sales team:
• Overall ownership of the pricing process and pricing model
• Work closely with the sales team and review proposals with respect to pricing; work through any open questions on product and services pricing
• Clear understanding of how and why pricing is derived
• Support the Corporate Counsel in contracting process as it relates to pricing and business terms
• Maintains the Sales Commission model and manages the commission plan and payout to the sales team
• Provide support, oversight, coordination and training of sales operational activities including pricing, quotas, and commissions

Qualifications and Experience:
The Sales Analyst will ideally have a strong blend of the following qualifications and attributes:
• Minimum of 5 years of business experience with a focus in sales or sales operations; previous success in direct sales preferred
• Experience managing pricing and compensation models
• Strong quantitative analysis skills; ability to develop and maintain pricing and commission toolsets in MS Excel and/or Access
• Demonstrable experience in implementing new tools and processes in a national or global sales organization
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and to communicate with all levels in the organization
• Extremely effective written, oral, and presentation communication skills
• Demonstrated high degree of ethics and integrity
