Take advantage of this rare opportunity to join one of America’s most prestigious Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods sales organizations as a Key member of their dynamic leadership team!  Our client is seeking an outside Commercial Sales Manager for their New England Commercial /B2B Sales Division.  This is a critical role, and involves managing $62MM in sales with 20 Direct reports throughout 4 locations in Framingham, Norton and Dracut, MA as well as Gray, NE.

Job Description

 

The key responsibility for this position is to coach and lead a team of 20 outside sales representatives to achieve designated weekly sales goals and expand the current $62MM in sales.  Although our client has a gigantic presence in the retail and foodservice industry; the current opportunity focuses on the equally immense sales in their commercial division  Leads are generated from a variety of sources; however more than 40% of sales are a result of cold-calling on service, retail, office, industrial and other commercial businesses in the areas outlined above.

The Commercial Sales Manager’s role is to develop the field selling skills for the team through workwiths, one-on-one coaching, sales learning time, and scorecard accountability. Travel to all four locations as outlined above on a weekly basis.

 Qualifications

  · Minimum 5 Years total outside B2B sales experience with at least 2 years in a direct leadership role.

  · Track record of success motivating a team of at least 8 outside salespeople with emphasis on cold-calling to commercial accounts

  · Ability to coach, motivate and develop passion and commitment in a team

  · Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills

  · Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills

  · Proficient at coaching a team

  · Strong analytical abilities

  · Strategic thinker

  · Highly professional, well-groomed appearance

  · Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred but not mandatory

Compensation:

 

Mid-point is for the base is low $70’s to low $80’s plus a realistic 20% target bonus, max 30% and choice of $975 monthly car allowance or fully paid company car plus full benefits, paid vacation, matching 401K +++
