Job Title: CSP Manager/Sales Manager

 

Department:  Local Site Operations 

 

Reports to:  General Manager 

 

Responsible to:  General Manager (Site)

 

I. Position Summary:

Manages instant product development process.  Manages administrative and HR functions of the Marketing Sales Representatives (MSR) and Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to promote teamwork and achieve the goals and objectives of the Oklahoma Lottery Commission (OLC).

 

II.  Responsibilities/Essential Functions

 

1. Executes marketing plans and programs that are complimentary to the OLC’s marketing strategies, including new game launches and product promotions.  The marketing plan will address both short and long term goals that will ensure proceeds are maximized for the OLC.

 

2. Assists the OLC in instant product development by working with the Instant Product Manager and marketing director.

 

3. Provides feedback to the OLC Marketing Director that utilizes lottery best practices and information from corporate resources.

 

4. Works with the Lottery Sales Director and Sales Coordinators to ensure the sales force in the field are working effectively and on task.

 

5. Utilizes feedback from the lottery to coach and train the MSR’s.

 

6. Tracks sales goals and communicates this information to the lottery sales group and when necessary, the marketing sales reps.

 

7. Ensures the MSRs are adequately supplied with tools and equipment to do the job.  In cases where the lottery provides this equipment or tools, this person will communicate these needs with the lottery.

 

8. Ensures the MSR fleet vehicles are maintained on schedule. 

 

9. Develop and train CSRs in accordance to SGI policies while executing strategies and initiatives of the OLC.

 

10. Train and work with Warehouse Supervisor and Tel-Sell supervisor to achieve goals set by SGI and the OLC.

 

11. Assists in the execution of market research including focus groups and surveys on current and new product concepts.

 

12. Assist in the planning of gaming strategies for the OLC, as requested. 

 

13. Ensures that all tools, materials, POS and other items required by the MSRs are provided to the MSRs in a timely manner.

 

14. Works with sales analyst to prepare weekly and monthly marketing activity reports for the OLC and SGI management, and provide input and suggestions based on this analysis.

 

15. Assist with site GM duties.

 

16. Develop budgets and work to achieve financial goals set by the GM.

 

17. Assists at key OLC special events and promotions, at the direction of the Lottery.

 

18. All other relevant duties as assigned.

 

 

 

III. Position Requirements/Skills & Abilities

 

1. BS Marketing/Business or equivalent experience.

2. 3+ years marketing/sales experience.

3. 3+ years of supervisory experience.

4. Experience with retail sales of consumer products preferred.

5.  Lottery industry experience is preferred.

6. Detail oriented and a self-starter.

7. Must have outstanding communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.

8. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

9. Ability to maintain positive working relationships as part of a team.

10. Experience in coordinating multiple projects and managing conflicting timelines.
