This position is part of the Enterprise Inside Sales Organization and will be working as a member of a geographically dispersed team.Responsible for selling Storage Systems and attached services to Commerical customers through indirect and direct channels. Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in your technology area.. The Storage business has defined some very aggressive growth targets, and a key element of the strategy to achieve this, is continuing to build a motivated, high achieving inside sales team with the experience, skills and energy to drive the business forward.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES This individual will work as an integrated member of the Inside Sales and Field sales teams that they are aligned with and will be expected to apply knowledge of HP products, technologies, programs and processes to provide appropriate storage solutions to HP customers.JOB SUMMARY – Sales Solution Coordinator Individuals will take on a leadership role in selling HP products and services. This position is an integral member of the field and inside teams in which they are aligned.  As a storage inside sales specialist,  you will be engaged by both your aligned field and inside sales teams once an opportunity has been identified. Your job will be to work directly with the customer from the needs assessment phase through to gaining commitment on the HP solution. There will be opportunities you are assisting in as a member of the sales team working broader opportunity that may encompass many solution lines; and there will be opportunities in which you are the designated HP sales resource to lead and close the business.Required to maintain a strong technical knowledge of HP and third party solutions. They are responsible for quoting the full range of HP products and non-complex service solutions. This position is intended to positively leverage the strategic selling and effectiveness of the sales organization and play a critical role in customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Achieves individual and team sales productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and call center objectives. Maintains a positive work environment emphasizing trust, high ethics, and customer satisfaction.Provides customers with hardware, software, services recommendations for the full HP Storage Solution Portfolio.Provides non-complex service solutions, and engages appropriate resources to increase sales of complex service solutions.May be required to participate in RFPs, RFQs, benchmarking, unsolicited proposals, technical configurations, and make pricing recommendations.EDUCATION – Minimum formal education level or equivalent necessary to perform this job. •Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in business or Master's (graduate) degree in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant experience EXPERIENCE – Minimum prior job related experience necessary to perform this job. •3+ years inside sales or field sales experience. •3+ years technology related experience. •3+ years customer service experience.TECHNICAL SKILLS – Minimum technical knowledge and skills necessary for this position.Sound knowledge of Storage Technology An understanding and ability to communicate HP's Adaptive Enterprise message Thorough knowledge and understanding of HP's storage solution offerings (HW, SW, and services) Advanced PC program skills – Internet browser, Email, Microsoft Office, databases. Understanding of HP and Third Party products and service offerings. COMMUNICATION SKILLS – Indicate the demonstrated verbal and written communication skills necessary to perform this position.With a geographically dispersed team it is of paramount importance that the candidate is: A self-motivated, go-and-get approach and the will to win Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills Ability to interface with various levels within customer's organization. Ability to communicate with outside sales and internal departments. Ability to command a leadership role in a team environment.
