Description: We are seeking an energetic individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of providing exceptional service to clients and prospects of a small successful financial advisory firm.


Job Purpose: The position responsibilities include executive-level administrative duties and professional support functions for a financial advisor.


Duties and Responsibilities:

*Support a financial advisor with a goal to increase business through exceptional service to existing and prospective clients.
* Perform advanced word processing and spreadsheet functions: Prepare letters, memos, reports, presentations, proposals, etc.
* Assist with financial advisor’s phone calls to schedule meetings.

* Ability to work as an effective team player and show initiative.

* Maintain client files.


Skills/Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in business or comparable work experience of 4+ years in advanced administration activities.

* Series 7 license encouraged

* Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Word and Excel with a willingness to learn new applications.

* Ability to work independently

* Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to effectively relate to others

* Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily workflow to effectively meet deadlines.
