Sales Support Customer Service Rep. (Copier Trainer)

Position ProfileResponsible for providing new hire and product training to Sales Representatives and external/internal customers. Serves as the central contact for area product training needs. Assists sales reps in demonstrating system offerings to customers Coordinates and oversees vendor product training and vendor shows to ensure product training objectives are met. Communicates regularly with sales management on the level of product expertise and strategizes to elevate sales rep knowledge base, if necessary. Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduct TrainingServes as the central contact for area product training needs.Provides Area support as well as support the sales reps with new product findings.Assists sales reps in demonstrating system offerings to customers.Works with manufacturers to schedule area-training programs.Coordinates and oversees vendor product training and vendor shows to ensure product training objectives are met.Ensures up to date files/library of new products (i.e. add Better Buys for findings, order brochures, discard old brochures, organize literature cabinet).Coordinates vendor shows and ordering promotional items.Maintains product-training database for area(s).Communicates regularly with sales management on the level of product expertise and strategizes to elevate sales rep knowledge base, if necessary. New Hire TrainingResponsible for product training for new sales reps upon their arrival at IKON.Creates product training manuals, quizzes, comparison charts, and product step-by-step instructions (for new hire and customer use).Orders system for CORE 2 job labs and final demos.Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications) Minimum high school degree or GED. 5+ years of professional experience in a business office environment.
