MarketSource, Inc. is currently seeking a Sales Support Specialist to represent our client, a major technology and related products manufacturer. Job Description The Channel Sales Support Specialist will be focused on the clients’ product line. The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for understanding and promoting channel programs. The Channel Sales Support Specialist will be the main sales focal point for the client in their respective geographical area. This position is also responsible for educating account managers, hosting client events (including educational events) and executing marketing programs. The Channel Sales Support Specialist must also be able to manage the opportunity pipeline for their location and address day to day sales related questions as they arise. Specific Responsibilities Ensure client sales reps are educated on the Intel based server line Provide direct sales support of Intel based servers and “low end” storage Provide product information and client competitive advantage point versus competition Understand & communicate assigned product programs & campaigns to client contacts Assist client in managing product supply chain ensuring sufficient model mix inventory levels Facilitate client sales opportunities via pipeline tracking/management Sell client to entire sales organization as first choice to customers Make presentations to sales teams on regular basis Represent client servers and products at selected customer events Expert in client promotions and offerings via sales and marketing programs Proficient in client pricing, financing, services and consulting offerings to customers Work with team to sell client solution and understand business partner relationship and benefits Show employees how they can make money selling the client product set Work hand in hand with Technical support reps to insure proper configurations for sales offerings



Qualifications/Skills The ideal Sales Support Specialist exhibits a high level of skill in all areas of communication, relationship building, product knowledge, sales techniques, organization, and time management The Sales Support Specialist must be customer-driven and possess the ability to communicate product, marketing promotions and successfully drive Intel server and storage related products and promotions at the partner location The position will require working on site at the customer location interfacing with the inside and outside sales teams of the partner The individual must be proactive, self-motivated, creative, flexible, consistently meets commitments, and exhibits a high level of integrity Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
