Salesforce.com Administrator
SFDC Enterprise Administrator
Responsibilities include:
· Maintain the business salesforce.com (SFDC) CRM system including coordination of enterprise level planning, analysis, and execution of business requirements
· Provide ongoing system support and maintenance and manage required changes or enhancements in coordination with business users, management, other IT resources and/or vendors
· Operate in cooperation with the business and other areas of IT and with business partners to identify practical solutions through existing or new technologies; assist in coordinating the evaluation and implementation of related technology to further extend and enhance operation of the system
· Work on projects and support applications that impact multiple business units
· Support both project and on-going support/maintenance activities related to Salesforce.com CRM and other related application systems
· Develop in-depth knowledge and proficiency of supported business areas and engage business partners in evaluating opportunities for process integration and refinement
· Ability to develop strong relationships with managers of customer/user groups to support user adoption, ensure proper use of applications, and foster productive growth and change around the application and corresponding business processes
· Conduct research on best practices and industry/functional trends
· Identify specific business requirements as communicated by a sponsoring business area, including cross-referencing requirements articulated by multiple business areas
· Remain operationally unbiased and play a pivotal role in brokering the needs and decisions of participating business units’ operation within the system, balancing localized needs with overall enterprise operational harmony
· Organize and chair a steering committee composed of local administrators from participating business units to ensure coordination around key administrative activities
· Promote collaboration across local administrators and guide the team to work in harmony as a group to address delivery of enterprise administrative tasks. When necessary, act as an arbiter or decision maker to finalize system decisions for which agreement cannot be obtained, and exercise sound judgment when quick action must be taken
· Organize and facilitate meetings/workshops where business requirements and application objectives are articulated, accurately captured and maintained/distributed appropriately
· Assist Project Leads/Managers in determining high-level project goals that serve as benchmarks of overall project/product success
· Assist in the development of testing, training development/support, and launch plans as required to aid in delivery of a quality product, designed for user acceptance and adoption
· Operate as primary system administrator and application configuration expert for Salesforce.com CRM, including but not limited to the following activities:
o Document requirements and specifications for system implementation, enhancements and develop consensus for those enhancements
o Work with sales and marketing management and local business unit administrators to design and implement forecasts, reports and dashboards
o Manage data loads and data quality
o Create reports and dashboards for the management team
o Maintain user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, and other system configuration options
o Train new end users on the application and train existing users on new features
o Stay abreast of CRM and salesforce.com best practices applicable to our industry
o Conduct regular workflow analysis and application review sessions among both users and executives
o Document processes and create documents to communicate processes
o Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM operations
o Maintain the Role Hierarchy and Sharing Rules as the organization changes structure over time
o Assist with bulk imports of lead, contact, or account data
o Maintain security profiles and access rights for users within the application
o Configure shared, custom reports
o Answer Level 2 System Admin Questions
o Escalate issues to salesforce.com Technical Support as required
o Manage Third Party Appexchange Partners
Skills/Experience Required:
· Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science or equivalent experience
· 2+ years hands-on experience with the configuration and ongoing administration of Salesforce.com; SFDC Certified highly desired
· Experience with Salesforce.com API, SOAP messaging, integrations with other enterprise applications is preferred
· Experience in analysis of business process, workflow and modeling
· Experience in analysis of computer applications that cross numerous operational and servicing disciplines
· Experience working in a task-oriented environment by where project management practices and disciplines are the key method towards job execution
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate information technology concepts to non-technology personnel
· Strong interpersonal skills, with all levels of management, staff, vendors, contractors, and consultants
· Familiarity with document management systems, business process management systems and workflow, and publishing systems in general
· Good communications, writing and editing skills needed to transfer information to individuals involved in development process
· CRM Experience
· Experience in the media industry helpful
