Scanning Supervisor

Demands of our services have created an exciting opportunity for a Scanning Supervisor at our Binghamton, NY location.  Summary:The Scanning Supervisor is responsible for the management of the 1st and 2nd shift scan & rescan teams, the daily conversion of documents to electronic images for all projects, image quality and the configuration management of all scanners utilized at the Binghamton, NY facility and Disaster Recovery site.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:·  Managing scanner software configurations utilized at the Binghamton SOURCECORP, BPS facility and Disaster Recovery site (flatbed & IBML scanners)·  Maintaining configuration records for all projects·Understanding IBML user groups·Remaining current on technology updates for all scanner software·  Pro-actively working with Operations to improve image quality and scanning capabilities for in-house projects·  Scheduling scanning jobs and ensuring that scheduling meets project SLA’s· Updating and maintaining scanner utilization reports·  Overseeing 1st shift scan and rescan departments·Converting documents from paper to image·  In cases of poor image quality, performing image quality verification and document re-conversion·  Providing leadership and guidance to group of 15-20 employees·  Monitoring quality of work and evaluating assigned employees·  Overseeing quality control and safe working practices·  Performing other duties as required Qualifications, Skills, & Experience ·Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years experience with scanning technologies OR Associate's degree with a minimum of 5 years experience with scanning technologies.·  Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or process-oriented environment.·  Ability to contribute to and foster a team environment Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions  ·Must be able to lift 40 pounds
