Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Analyst

Search Engine Marketing (SEM) AnalystSEM Analyst is a contract-to-hire position, which requires in-depth knowledge of search engine marketing, SEO for all major search engines and PPC advertising systems. The SEM Analyst will be responsible for executing and managing the tactical components of various integrated SEM campaigns, which may include both Paid Search (Pay-Per-Click) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).The SEM Analyst must be data-driven, analytically minded and detail-oriented. This person must have the ability to quickly learn and work with various online tools and systems. The ideal candidate will have a data mining and analytical background with experience working with or in marketing departments.Responsibilities:• Assist with audit of clients' website architecture to ensure the site is properly constructed to maximize search engine visibility• Provide recommendations to maximize site traffic for client websites and provide strategic traffic analysis for site enhancements• Execute search engine campaign management (Google, Yahoo! Search, MSN, etc.)• Coordinate with third-party vendors and/or client IT professionals to resolve technical issues• Assist in the development of scopes of work for the production search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns, based on the defined strategy for the client• Manage most technical aspects of SEM projects including kickoff, requirements analysis, development, testing and launch.
