Senior Administrative Assistant (TPA/Insurance)

Zenith Administrators is a large, national third party benefits administrator committed to consistently meeting or exceeding our client expectations.  We provide a full range of benefit administrative services for multi-employer, single employer and public employee benefit plans.  We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant for the Client Services department in our San Francisco office.

 

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating and/or arranging client meetings, including making travel arrangements; preparing and/or typing agendas, meeting notices, minutes, correspondence, reports, appeals, and presentations; maintaining calendars for assigned office staff; and composing and/or typing, editing and distributing correspondence, plan documents and booklets, benefit communications, new business proposals for existing and prospective clients and other client documents.  Must be able to maintain effective communications and working relationships with clients and respond to requests from clients, government agencies, unions, participants, attorneys and consultants.

 

The ideal candidate will have vocational or other technical school, certification or training beyond high school; a minimum of 3-5 years of senior level administrative experience, preferably in the insurance, broker or TPA industry; advanced PC skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Access a plus); attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects at one time; ability to type at least 70 wpm and excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Bachelor’s degree and prior multi-employer and Taft-Hartley trust fund experience a strong plus.
