This position will create and analyze management information necessary for Russell business leaders to effectively manage our investment in human capital. This will entail the development of ongoing and ad hoc management information reports for Human Resources and business units, as well as the corporate headcount reporting process. This position is eligible for relocation. The responsibilities of the individual in this position include: Supporting critical information needs for on-going HR management reporting Designing and producing standardized reporting processes Conducting analyses and developing ad hoc reports for special projects Creating reporting formats, taking into account report scope, audience, design, formatting, frequency and delivery method Defining and developing metrics/reports to facilitate informed business decisions Identifying workforce trends by analyzing statistics, benchmarks and key performance indicators Facilitating collaboration between HR and business unit managers Recommending process changes to ensure consistent and accurate data flow and reporting methods Creating specific data feeds to support Russell business activities, including recruitment, training, compensation, surveys and Diversity and Inclusion data Managing the corporate-wide headcount reporting process Preparing and distributing headcount reports on a monthly basis Coordinating with Finance for reporting of planned and open positions Managing and participating in a wide variety of HR projects, including the performance testing and tuning of queries and reports, development and maintenance of global data standards and other projects that leverage data and increase efficiencies Collaborating with HR and business managers to implement process improvement Analyzing existing processes and providing suggestions for improvement and efficiencies Evaluating current processes and creating appropriate documentation Documenting processes, output (views, queries, and reports) and data retention requirements The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experience, including the following: Bachelor's degree in statistics, HR, business, technology, finance 8-10 years of management reporting experience that includes broad exposure to data analysis, interpretation and reporting Background working with HRIS or complex relational databases Proven track record in project management and process re-engineering Solid understanding of management information presentation including the application of financial, management and legal entity structures and hierarchies Proficiency of HRIS systems, particularly PeopleSoft, PeopleTools and PeopleSoft query Extensive knowledge of statistical principles and best practices/trends for management reporting, report design, benchmarking and company performance metrics Demonstrated ability to use data and information in a clear and rational thought process to evaluate options and make decisions. Talent for designing and formatting reports to meet specific user needs, including executive and functional level Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Access Demonstrated project management, time-management, problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proven written/verbal communication, organization, planning, negotiation, conflict-resolution and analytical skills Self-starter and action oriented Flexibility to work effectively under unique situations and changing conditions Strong client service focus and consultative orientation High level of poise, tact, diplomacy and confidentiality Benefits: Life balance matters here.
