The OpportunityWe are searching for an experienced Researcher/Consultant to lead the fulfillment of Custom Analysis in our Online Higher Education Learning Collaborative (OHE-LC). The successful candidate will play a key part in serving an existing member-based, peer research consortium that brings together senior decision-makers at public and private universities across the country. The focus of the OHE-LC is to help member institutions better understand the online higher education market, and make strategic online programming and operational decisions. As part of membership, institutions may pose market and operational questions to the OHE-LC research team, and commission primary and secondary research.

As someone fluent in higher education, and with research and/or operational experience in online higher education, the Senior Analyst/Custom Research Manager will further develop and expand Eduventures' intellectual capital in areas related to online market assessment, online program development, and online operations.

 Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Senior Analyst/Custom Research Manager role include, but are not limited to:Working with members to define and scope their Custom Analysis needs, and identify how OHE-LC can best respondManaging and leading execution on the Custom Research Report product line for OHE-LCServing as a go-to subject matter expert on online higher education for members and colleaguesSynthesizing the value of the OHE-LC Custom Analysis archive for members, both orally and in writingWorking with the Program Director to enhance the scope and format of the Custom Research Report product lineManaging research associates/interns’ work on Custom Research ReportsRepresenting Eduventures at third-party industry events and to the media

RequirementsBachelor's degree; master's degree or Ph.D. highly desirable Five-plus years of experience in higher education research/consulting, encompassing an  understanding of and interest in business and policy issues in higher education Experience with online higher education market and operational issuesStrong qualitative and quantitative research skills Well-developed client relationship management skills Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to scope and frame issues A strong disseminator of information in a variety of settings Project management skills An interest in working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial company environment Experience with and interest in mentoring junior analysts
