Senior Business Operations/HR Analyst
Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is committed to assisting industry and government achieve world-class competitiveness. CTC has a full-time opening for a Senior Business Operations/HR Analyst at its Bremerton, Washington location.
SENIOR BUSINESS OPERATIONS/HR ANALYST
The successful candidate will work as part of a project team that includes peers and U.S. Navy personnel to provide consulting services in developing and designing training, human resource strategies, organizational design, and business process improvement. Duties include developing and implementing methods to assess current and future training requirements; coordinating all aspects of the training process, including research, materials development, program delivery, student testing and assessment; creating relationships with all stakeholders and completing special projects as assigned. Additional duties include developing, supporting and effectively communicating innovative personnel strategies and implementation plans. Tasks may include data gathering and analysis; identification and documentation of process and policy challenges; cost and risk-based analysis of proposed systems and processes; conducting business case analysis, and assisting with information system selection and implementation. Candidate will perform requirements analysis and identification of organizational roles and responsibilities. May be responsible for leading the team with production of documents and briefings for the client. Will collaborate with process stakeholders and coordinate related activities in conducting reviews and refinement of the product. Will conduct interviews and analysis to define business, financial and operations requirements and systems goals. Will communicate process changes, enhancements and modifications through verbal or written documentation so that issues and solutions are understood. Will assist in the development of training materials. Will define areas of opportunity and make recommendations to standardize, improve or redesign processes to meet customer needs. Will work in an office environment with some travel to client sites in the United States.
Qualified candidates must possess an MA/MS with 2 yrs or BA/BS with 6 yrs experience in Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Strategic Studies or closely related discipline. Directly applicable experience in DoD/Navy organizational management, reserve operations, manpower planning, etc., desired. Must have experience and/or knowledge in most of the following areas: business process reengineering, organizational design/development, training development, employee recruitment, retention, and development, performance management, and human resources metrics. Must have ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio. Must have attention to detail, possess strong quantitative and analytical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and problem resolution skills. Knowledge of Navy structure and practices is desirable.
