Senior Economist Opening at Recon Research Corporation:

Recon Research is seeking a Senior Economist for economic research and consulting for litigation support projects.

Recon Research Corporation was founded in 1980 to provide economic advisory services and litigation assistance to domestic and international corporate clients.

The Company provides advice on antitrust issues, intellectual property disputes, environmental and energy economics, real estate and business valuation, general litigation support and contract analysis. In addition, Recon personnel are available to provide expert testimony as appropriate in state and federal administrative or judicial proceedings. Organizations currently benefitting from Recon's services include multinational corporations, interstate pipelines, manufacturing corporations, real estate partnerships, entertainment firms, financial institutions and government.


Job functions and responsibilities:

The new Senior Economist will be responsible for project management, involving, among other things, conducting, directing, and coordinating research, case analysis, and the construction of valuation models.


Qualifications/Requirements:

Ph.D. in economics, with a preference for those who also have an accounting and finance background. Experience and proficiency with mathematical spreadsheet models and statistical techniques is necessary. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to absorb and compile data into presentations and reports are also important, as is the ability to use PC spreadsheets, databases, and programs such as Excel and PowerPoint.  Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
