Responsible for supporting the annual planning and ongoing forecasting process, you will recommend and implement process improvements to ensure the overall accuracy and integrity of Russell's financial plan as well as maintain and update the Plan throughout the year in response to funding decisions and organizational changes. The responsibilities of the individual in this position include: Supporting the annual planning process Establishing and monitoring the planning timeline to ensure all deliverables are met Recommending and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and respond to business change Leading efforts to establish annual revenue and expense targets for all business units Maintaining and updating the Plan throughout the year in response to funding decisions and organizational changes Maintaining a strong service relationship with Finance staff throughout the organization Developing and maintaining an ongoing revenue and expense forecasting process Monitoring, researching and explaining business unit revenue and expense variances in relation to plan and forecast Supporting business unit finance groups in regards to the planning and forecasting function Providing training on the planning system, responding to inquiries and resolving issues The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experience, including the following: Bachelor's degree 7-10 years of increasing responsible experience in a corporate finance or public accounting group Background in annual planning process and the development of financial forecasts Ability to interface/consult across Russell product-lines and management team Experience with financial statement presentation, including the application of financial hierarchies and legal entity structures Proven business financial analysis, modeling and forecasting skills with an emphasis on building and maintaining complex financial models Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving ability, including the capacity to bring structure and organization to the consideration and solution of problems Proficiency with databases, planning software and financial systems (CODA, Pillar, Cognos, Excel, Access) Benefits: Life balance matters here.
