Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Analyst Summary

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst and a Financial Analyst II.  This is a great opportunity with an even greater firm!

Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for:Support the development of the annual budgetPerform financial forecastingPerform monthly variance analysisProduce monthly financial reportsSupport and produce business intelligence tools and reportsGL analysisAd hoc financial analysisFinancial modeling & decision support analysisFinancial systems support and analysisInvestigate and trouble shoot accounting issuesImprove processes by researching and implementing other system tools and methodsMaintain and support various accounting system information  Support various monthly closing processesProcess payroll and manage commission calculations

 

 

Essential Senior Financial Analyst Skills & Characteristics Excellent analytical skills and a good understanding of financial concepts, especially project costing and the professional services industryProactive and creative with the ability to take ownership of various assigned projectsBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting combined with minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.  CPA/MBA is a plus.Advanced Excel skills required
