Ernst & Young Finance & Performance Management (F&PM) helps clients with business performance through a focus on providing business advisory services that achieve measurable benefits in operational effectiveness and strategic decision making. As a member of Ernst & Young's F&PM team, the Senior Manager leads multiple client engagement teams, works with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, and is responsible for business development activities on strategic priority accounts. F&PM services include: Finance Function Strategy; Finance Organizational Design and Development; Finance Operational Effectiveness; Finance and Operational Systems Effectiveness; and Management Information and Decision Support. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.To qualify, candidates must have:a bachelor's and/or master's degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, statistics, economics, MIS (business perspective) and/or business a minimum of 8 years of experience in providing advisory services in the finance function and other operational areas that impact the finance function (e.g., order to cash; procure to pay; close to report; budgeting and planning; shared services/outsourcing) experience in selling and delivering projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design and implementation support a demonstrated record in driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the C level of Fortune 500 companies experience in program management for large-scale business transformation projects and programs the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment (and know when to lead and when to follow) experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members strong analytical and problem-solving skills excellent oral and written communication skills a high level of motivation and a self-starting attitude an ability to think outside of the box, and thrive on new challenges a strong work ethic a willingness to travel on short notice to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80% CA-San JoseCA-San Francisco
