Ernst & Young's Financial Services Office (FSO) is a unique, industry-focused business unit that provides a broad range of integrated services that leverage deep industry experience with strong functional capability and product knowledge. FSO's Risk Advisory Services (RAS) practice provides integrated advisory services to financial institutions and other capital markets participants, including commercial banks, investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers (traditional and alternative), insurance and energy trading companies, and other organizations. The service offerings provided by the RAS practice include: market, credit and operational risk management, regulatory advisory, quantitative advisory, structured finance transaction, actuarial advisory, technology enablement, risk and security, program advisory, and process & controls. The RAS team includes individuals who have deep industry, product and client knowledge. Responsibilities: The Retail Banking Senior Manager will support client business relationship development, opportunity and sales generation, managing people and projects, product development, team development, and service delivery. The successful candidate will be a self starter who is highly motivated to develop business relationships with target clients and transform relationships and other opportunities into successful advisory service projects. They will actively lead and oversee service delivery teams as well as provide hands on involvement to provide outstanding quality service to our clients. The Retail Banking Senior Manager will work directly with clients to transform their business issues into process, technology and other solutions. Requirements: To sell and deliver these comprehensive services, we are looking for individuals with: A minimum of 8 years of experience working in the retail banking sector (including consulting), with experience in credit cards, consumer lending, and / or retail operations A minimum of 2 years consulting experience in the retail banking sector, including both sales and service delivery Business knowledge and experience in retail banking areas such as payments and cars, consumer lending, business process management and / or retail operations Hands on experience / knowledge in retail banking activities such as the financial reporting and analysis, management reporting, transaction processing, cost analysis, technology enablement and risk management Ability to call upon clients, define their needs and respond with relevant products and services Flexibility, initiative, strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, and sound professional judgment. A demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and generate sales of advisory services A demonstrated ability to manage and supervise large teams and complex projects Strong communication, presentation, technical writing skill and interpersonal skills PMI Project Management certification is a plus.
