Senior Marketing Database Analyst

The Hibbert Group is a 127 year old national marketing support services firm of international scope.  Our customers include many of the largest and most successful companies in the world.  Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Marketing Database Analyst.

 

The SMDA will perform data analysis to assess client’s marketing activities and effectiveness through a variety of channels: e-mail, web, and direct mail.  This position will also manage or assist in managing various marketing program for Fortune 500 client base.  This position is based in Trenton, NJ.

 

Qualified candidates will have three to five years experience in Marketing and with Relational Technologies.  Responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to;

§ Keen focus on analyzing and tracking responses, preferences, transactions and behaviors.

§ Identify marketing opportunities by analyzing customer trends to enhance and create new business and/or programs.

§ Design, write, test and validate processes and project analysis to make recommendations for customers, products and channel utilization.

§ Work with internal person to understand business challenges and develop innovative analytic solutions based on best practices.

§ Tracking of program launches/ customer acceptance/ sales potential.

§ Define and maintain standards, processes and trends to maximize full capability of related applications. 

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing databases within the Pharmaceutical Industry, experience performing queries for segmentation, retention, prospecting and cross-selling, a thorough knowledge and understanding of direct marketing processes, and experience with developing SQL queries to be used for analysis and report writing.  Must have solid project management skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Candidate should be a self-starter with demonstrated presentation skills and an outstanding ability to analyze, interpret and communicate findings to internal/external business partners.
