Senior Oracle HRMS Implementation Specialist
Exeter Group, Inc., headquartered in Cambridge, MA, is a technology consulting and software development firm specializing in information systems strategy, planning, implementation, and management. The company is currently seeking Senior Oracle HRMS Consultants for a large, multi-year project.
We are looking for individuals with hands-on experience implementing and deploying Oracle HR, Benefits and Payroll software applications for mid-to-large organizations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Oracle functionality delivered within the core HRMS and Self-Service modules. The candidate will be required to provide the functional direction and leadership necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project. This includes architecting solutions, creating prototypes, implementing solutions, integrating systems, managing functional staff and working with clients.
Responsibilities
Work directly with clients on Oracle implementation projects as a functional module lead.Gather and analyze business requirements and objectives, perform fit/gap analysis, and provide recommendations.Develop functional design specifications based on client needs and requirements. Provide practical knowledge of functional design alternatives and the implications of each approach, with heavy participation in the software design and development cycle. Configure and document module functions and features.Conduct unit and system tests, monitor test results, identify appropriate issues and take corrective action. Work in conjunction with team members for integration and user acceptance testing issue resolution.Assist the Training Coordinator with end user training and documentation.Provide go-live and post-production functional support.Assist the Project Manager with resource and cost estimates, development and maintenance of project schedules.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, Computer Science, or related field5+ years work experience, supporting or implementing Oracle applicationsMinimum of 3 years field experience working with external clients in a consulting capacity, with at least 2 full cycle Oracle implementations. Experience with the following modules required: Human Resources, Benefits, and PayrollProactive, quality-oriented, with demonstrated leadership and team-building skillsKnowledge of project and/or system management processesProven experience with developing project work plansExcellent communication, presentation, planning and organizational skillsExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsTechnology skills required: Oracle, SQL, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft VisioBilingual – English and Spanish – a plusHeavy Travel Required
