Job Summary:

The Senior Research Analyst is responsible for providing integrated analysis of the competitive landscape, collecting competitive information through primary and secondary research, organizing and presenting findings and writing reports.  They work collaboratively and provide leadership to an engagement team in support of the delivery of world class actionable intelligence to our clients. 

 Analysis: Organize and analyze research findings; draw relevant key conclusions about the competitive situation. Apply industry knowledge and business experience to provide strategic and actionable intelligence.Primary Research: Conduct a high volume of in-depth, qualitative primary research phone calls with sources from a variety of functional areas.Report Creation / Development: Compose professional, succinct reports using appropriate visual aids; develop executive summaries and perspectives for client deliverables. Client Communication: Prepare for and participate in project-related calls and meetings; present findings to clients.

Opportunities exist in multiple practices including:  Financial Services, Consumer and Industrial Goods, Technology/Telecommunications, and Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare. 

 

Preparation, Training and Experience:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred; or equivalent training and experience; plus 7 or more years of related experience including 3 or more years of competitive analysis or consulting required.

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly developed critical thinking and analysis capabilities, ability to think strategically and provide direction on projects.  Must be an enthusiastic, high-energy team player with a dedication to excellence, and a positive attitude.
