Senior Sales Position – Jersey City

· Do you have relationships with executive knowledge workers (C-level executives, senior research analysts, corporate librarians, etc.) in New York Financial District companies (investment banking, banking, consulting, etc.) that you can leverage to book appointments?
· Do you have a proven ability to convince executive knowledge workers in New York Financial District companies to schedule “discovery” conversations?
· Do you excel at cold calling and industry group networking?
· Are you a “hunter” (NOT an account manager)?
· Do you take a consultative approach to sales opportunity qualification and leveraging expert resources?
· Are you a thoroughly trained, senior salesperson with high levels of initiative and self-motivation?

We are seeking strategic sales professionals that have a proven ability to prospect and close new business in New York Financial District companies, including investment banks, banks, consulting and other finance-related firms. The focus of this position is NEW business generation, NOT account management. In other words, this is a "hunter" position. Critical requirements include the ability to research categories, identify targets, network within industry groups, cold call, take a consultative approach to identifying prospect industry information needs, deliver live and web-based presentations, and follow through to contractual execution.
Target annual compensation is $160,000+ with no cap on earnings. We pay a base salary, generous commissions and approved business expenses. We also provide excellent benefits and ongoing product training and sales support. This position would be based in our Jersey City, NJ office.
