Senior Specialist Software Development (.Net, SQL Server 2005, ASP.Net, C#, AJAX) - 00IM4

The Senior Specialist Software Developer will be the technical lead for the maintenance and support of assigned applications. The applications include, but are not limited to, Revenue Reporting System, Account Information Management System, PAB Sync, and Aprimo. Candidate will be responsible for all technical decisions/direction for these applications. This position will require extensive knowledge of the clients or product area's functions, services and system/service delivery life cycle. Essential Functions of the Job : Oversees all technical aspects of the product or service including overall costs to develop and deliver. Reviews, prioritizes and manages all maintenance/support requests. Manages impacts to or caused by other products and services. Primary point of contact for client on all maintenance and support issues. Assigns technical work to other team members and insures work is completed on time. Manages to the annual maintenance and support budgets of each application. Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities : Analyze and decipher diverse requirements of multiple countries. Assess and recommend system changes based on needs of clients. Will work with the team to classify and prioritize defects related to the product/service line and make decisions based on the assessment. Provides guidance and analytical expertise on enhancement requests raised by working communities. Recommend other changes to senior management. This position is responsible for the analysis of cross-functional impacts of changes. Coordinates the work effort between modules and potentially multiple teams. Ability to make decisions, sometimes with limited information, to keep applications running properly Knowledge and Skills Requirements: Strong analytical abilities Excellent interpersonal, client service, communication, organizational, and project management skills The ability to work and team effectively with clients and other team members The ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring all points of view are considered before reaching a decision The ability to react appropriately during crisis situations to ensure application availability. .Net, SQL Server 2000/2005, ASP.Net, C#, AJAX Microsoft IIS and web development experience Experience with Active Directory Other Requirements : Be available for Product/Service Line Support 24X7 Flexibility to work nonstandard hours when needed. Education requirements : A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience Experience : Approximately 8-10 years of experience in a medium to large environment, performing application development and support. Experience in business analysis and/or project systems management is desired Strong background and experience in .Net, SQL Server 2005, ASP.Net, C#, AJAX etc. is required.
