Service Manager

A 20 year old leader in material handling industry has an opening for an experienced service manager to run our busy service department.  Our business is sales, installation, repair and maintenance of industrial equipment including loading dock equipment, commercial overhead doors, and material lifts.

The service manager will supervise and dispatch service technicians and interact with sales and administrative departments to meet customer expectations.  

Duties:

*  Direct supervision of service technicians including dispatching, training, communicating job expectations; and enforcing Pace’s policies and procedures.

*  Responsible for dispatching technicians and maintaining scheduling calendar as well as other administrative tasks

*  Responsible for working with the sales and administrative staff to meet customer expectations and company goals

Skills/Qualifications:

*  Management experience with organizational skills a plus

*  Proficient in welding, a demonstrated ability to read schematics

*  Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment

*  Good communication skills

*  Customer service oriented

*  Valid WSDL with an insurable driving record

*  Pre-employment drug screen
