Solution Consultant

The Market Intelligence unit of Harte-Hanks is embarking significant changes to its core product offering, the Ci Technology Database (CiTDB).  To help drive these changes, we require CiTDB Solution Consultants to team with the Data Specialist to position value added sales and data usage activity. 

 

The primary role of the CiTDB Solution Consultant is to deliver strategic, day-to-day management of client engagements and help sell, secure and drive as many point solutions for the database as needed to increase retention rates and growth of existing customers.  To effectively achieve these objectives, the CiTDB Solutions Consultant will devise and drive applications of CiTDB in the broad areas of sales, research and planning; including but not limited to sales operations, market research/analytics, direct mail & email marketing, territory and compensation planning, outbound calling, lead generation and channel support programs.  The CiTDB Solution Consultant will report to the Data Specialist and create compelling value propositions by matching CiTDB applications to known business problems within clients’ environment.  As a member of the CiTDB team, this position also helps to drive the design of tools, application, and capability solutions to deliver sustained competitive advance and maximum return on investment (ROI).

 

CiTDB Solution Consultant shall become engrained in the customer’s environment conducting backend analysis, developing methods or processes for implementation, and leveraging the value of the CiTDB across as many client departments and user groups as possible.  Success implementing data integration and support of point solutions are critical measures of the role.

 

Required Skills and Experience

· BA/BS degree or equivalent with 8+ years experience in the execution side of database marketing strategy, analytics, sales processes, and technology in a b2b market.

· Proficiency in various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Excel working with large data sets, and SPSS statistical software.  Working knowledge of SQL a plus. 

· Excellent presentation and communication skills.

· Experienced in data marketing processes and models in technology that will enable the vision of an integrated, multi-channel targeted and optimization strategy.

· Ability to articulate ROI metrics to various client levels and able to manage proof of concept projects closely working with internal and client side personnel to insure success whenever possible.

· Forecasting experience using various tools and techniques that combine historically observed patterns with known events that influence our clients’ outcome and CiTDB usage.

· 50% travel required.
