The Solutions Practice: Building a Management Consulting Practice within the Corporate Executive Board (CEB)CEB has developed a unique arm of the business called Solutions at our members’ request to support them through their implementation challenges. Over the current years, our team has successfully helped many members implement CEB's best practices research through customized membership programs. Solutions’ ability to leverage CEB’s intellectual property in the form of proprietary survey diagnostics, analyses, and quantitative models has proven successful in numerous industries across three functional areas: Human Capital Management Sales Force Effectiveness Procurement Strategy and Execution Business Development (Solutions) AssociateAs a Business Development Solutions Associate, you will be part of a two-person sales team focused on generating and renewing business for the Solutions practice. A Business Development Solutions Associate's responsibilities will vary from day to day. An Associate's time will be spent cultivating a membership pool through relationship sales and marketing initiatives, providing logistical and administrative support in pursuit of service and renewal goals, conducting qualitative analyses and creating presentation materials, and collaborating with team leaders to manage proposal timelines and deliverables. Key responsibilities of a Business Development (Solutions) Associate include:Contacting senior-most executives at Global 4200 organizations through both telephone and email efforts to generate interest and secure meetings on behalf of a Director. Conducting market research and sales support Recruiting and retaining members to teleconferences and other marketing campaigns Creating company research profiles and core membership information Scheduling services related to activities with members, such as welcome calls, mid-year check in calls, on-site visits and renewal calls Framing specific business problems and profiling companies that have successfully implemented solutions to these problems using our products Generating presentations, proposals, and sales documents with the support of a Marketing Director. Supporting the Solutions team through other tasks such as coordinating meetings and teleconferences, preparing data and summaries for the team, and managing member requests.
