Sourcing Manager

 

We are currently looking for a qualified Strategic Sourcing Global Procurement Manager, focusing on Information Technology, to join our Global Procurement team.

 

The Strategic Sourcing Global Procurement Manager is responsible for managing and executing initiatives and relationships for various expenditures/sourcing categories specific to Marketing. The Manager will perform category analysis and research to fully understand the commodity marketplace to include which suppliers to consider based on industry and business trends. Additional responsibilities include the review and approval of new suppliers, and strategy development for the spend category.

 

The qualified candidate will manage and develop strategic supplier relationships that compliment and align with corporate initiatives, work collaboratively with other function procurement staff on developing, measuring and managing the on-going performance of suppliers, assist in developing and refining department and company-wide procurement policy and procedures, manage complex projects with multi-vendor-multi-functional aspects and complete them through implementation and documentation stages and evaluate and implement process improvement strategies.

 

Key Requirements:

3-5+ years of Procurement experience, focused on the expenditures/ sourcing categories specific to IT and Telecom

Ability to develop strategic sourcing strategies for all of the areas within technology spend categories: telecom, hardware, software, outsourcing and consulting contracts

Must have former experience in some or all of the areas mentioned above

Strategic sourcing to include opportunity assessment, spend analysis, gathering of business requirements, drafting of RFI and RFPs, analysis of RFI and RFP results, contract negotiations, implementation of solutions (with business partners) and ongoing monitoring and measurement of contract

Strong program administration and project management skills

High level strategic sourcing skills (RFI, RFP, and e-procurement processes)

Understanding of Contracts Management and document controls

Strong analytical skills related to invoicing and financial data, excellent customer service skills and an ability to work with minimal supervision

Proactive problem solving and supplier management skills

Strong MS Office skills are required an, Power Point d MS Project/Visio skills are mandatory

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology Management or a related field is strongly preferred

Must be a team player. Should be able to do in depth sourcing, develop research and create presentations (power point) to present to procurement team and business unit that person is sourcing for.
