STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Valley Lighting in Linthicum, Maryland seeks a full time Staff Accountant to join its expanding team, reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer. 

 

Job Summary:

 

Responsibilities will include reviewing and posting daily bank activity, participating in month-end closing, preparing and analyzing GL accounts, maintaining the fixed assets and inventory cost files, filing state sales and use tax returns, assisting in A/P and A/R as needed and performing special projects. 

 

Job Qualifications:   

 

Accounting degree or pursuing an Accounting degree

 

Job Requirements:

 

Candidate must have excellent attention to detail and must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
