Supplier Compliance Agent (Customer Service / Account management )

The Browz Supply Chain Verification Service helps organizations and their suppliers exchange safety compliance information. As an independent third party, Browz provides the value-added service of collecting, verifying and tracking supplier responses and documents as requested by our clients. Users access this information via the Internet using patented, web-based technology, resulting in cost savings, reduced operational risk, and improved business performance.

 

To support our ongoing growth and commitment to supplier advocacy, Browz is hiring a Supplier Compliance Agent. This individual is a vital part of the Browz Supplier Advocacy Team and is responsible for managing the compliance information of Suppliers that have been assigned to his or her team. 

 

Qualified applicants must excel in managing supplier/client relationships, problem resolution and enjoy telephone work.  You must have a strong work ethic, an ability to stay focused and work independently in a fast paced environment. Additionally, candidates should have customer service experience and exceptional telephone skills. Further preference will be given to bi-lingual, French Speakers and anyone with insurance/safety related experience.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·  Responsible for explaining to the Supplier the Client’s compliance information requirements

·  Responsible for the ongoing relationship with the Supplier and his compliance information

·  Works directly with Suppliers to collect compliance information

·  Previews the compliance information for correctness and completeness prior to entry into Browz Risk Application by a Reviewer

·  Provides to the Supplier technical support in the use of the Browz Risk Application

·  Works with Suppliers to ensure that their information (“file”) is complete and correct

·  Performs handoff to Reviewer once the Supplier file is complete

·  Verifies that the icons shown in the Browz Risk Application are correct following the Review process

·  Works with Suppliers to renew expired compliance data

·  Monitor and report to management the compliance “icon” status & completion status of all suppliers

·  Coordinate supplier problem escalations with Business Development

·  Sends to Suppliers Completion Letters and Browz Conformance Certificates

·  Works with 3rd parties on suppliers’ behalf (e.g., insurance agents) when applicable to collect compliance informationEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

·  Minimum of high school education, with a year or more of college education in business fields preferable.

·  Proven abilities and experience with data entry and/or data audit

·  Firm understanding of Browz risk management model, including benefits of the Browz Service to both Clients and Suppliers

·  Firm understanding of Browz operations’ policies, processes and procedures

·  Proven track record in working successfully with Browz Suppliers; gets high marks in managing compliance data and providing customer serviceLANGUAGE and OTHER SKILLS

·  Excellent command of the English language

·  Proficiency in other languages desirable, preferably French,

·  Speaks clearly and rationally, and keeps a cool head especially in situations where confronted with dissatisfied Suppliers

·  Strong people skills required

·  Strong data management skills required; able to quickly discern data that is incorrect or incomplete on a wide range of documents.
