Support Services Manager

The Support Services Manager based in the Bridgeport, NJ area is responsible for managing teams of administrative staff to ensure efficient and effective paperwork processing while providing customer service to internal and external customers.

Essential Job Functions:
-Provides leadership and day-to-day management for coaching, development, and corrective action of the administrative support staff and its processes.
-Responsible for overall Administration Center performance, including: performance management, staff decisions hiring, firing, promotions, development planning, budget, and salary management.
-Oversees administrative processing of all rental contracts and maintenance, including: managing rental contracts, collecting outstanding invoices, establishing customer credit limits, processing accounts payable, and processing payroll time sheets and service orders.
-Management of national collections function and processes, including: customer contact, collections metrics, training, and team performance.
-Establishes and implements standards, goals, vision, and objectives for Administration Center performance.
-Leads and supports administrative staff as needed during the planning and implementation of various projects.
-Sources backup support to service centers as needed administrative staff in all Areas or Service Centers as needed.
-Promotes team environment between Admin Center and Area/Service Centers through sourcing back-up support and training on service processes.
-Regular communication with senior management on business results, administrative processes, service levels and performance, including ability to deliver presentations across all levels of organization.
-Build relationships by understanding and meeting or exceeding internal/external customer needs
-Work well as a team member and individual in a fast pace environment

Job Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited four year college or university; Finance, Accounting, or Business Management degree preferred
-Minimum of 10 years of Finance, Accounting, Contracts or Customer Service experience, with at least 5 years of previous supervisory experience managing 10 employees or more
-PC literary in a Microsoft environment and ERP system
-Demonstrated leadership success in a complex, nation-wide organization
-Customer focused with a strong sense of urgency for creative solutions
-Acute attention to detail
-Demonstrated managerial courage in a fast-paced, evolving environment
-Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, including strong written, oral, facilitation, and presentation skills
-Collaborative style with decisive, results-oriented approach
-Ability to self-direct and self-manage
-Willingness to learn all aspects of the business
-Ability to coach, train, mentor, and develop staff and direct reports
-Strong financial reporting abilities, including: analysis, forecasting, budgeting, collections, contracts and invoicing
-Previous experience with Change Management, including ability to least and navigate change within the organization
-Lean Manufacturing or Six-Sigma certification a plus
-Willingness to relocate
