System Administrator

“Use technology whenever possible and own it!â€�  Embrace this Guiding Principal at DRIASI.  Located in Chanhassen, MN we provide third party administration of insurance products to our customers nationwide.  We are looking for a Systems Administrator to support our 120+ user Windows & UNIX network.

 

The Systems Administrator provides technical assistance for all hardware, software and network opportunities and proactively protects the network. Also as a systems administrator you will be working with and researching new technologies such as iSCSI, Virtual Server, Voice over IP, and Remote Access.  This position reviews and modifies computer center procedures and guidelines, including proposing new ways to improve operations through technologies such as automation, and managing approved projects to implement these changes.  The role will work closely with other departments to identify productivity improvements that could be achieved through the use of technology.  The System Administrator will propose innovative solutions from the technical industry to provide "world-class" operations in a dynamic, growing environment.

 

Qualifications for this role include: four years progressive experience with at least two years as a systems administrator; an associates degree in a technical field; MCSE certification or equivalent Windows 2000/2003 experience; and self motivation.  Experience with Exchange 2003, SQL Server 2005, UNIX/AIX, and imaging systems a plus.
