System Administrator - Windows & Linux

We are searching for an experienced System Administrator capable of maintaining a multi-site MS Windows and Linux network.

 

This person should be a highly motivated individual that can work unsupervised as well as part of a team. He/She should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels.

 

The Systems Administrator will report directly to the VP of IT.

 

This is a full-time position, Sunday - Thursday, with flexible hours.

 

Job Duties:Maintain uptime and backups of all mission critical systemsMaintain uptime for network, switches and remote officesEnsure the servers and network are free from security holes and virusesSchedule server changes, upgrades, and migrations outside normal business hoursSetup and maintain end user accounts, permissions and access

Requirements:2-4 years full-time systems admin and networking experience requiredStrong working knowledge of MS Active Directory, MS Exchange server and Red Hat Linux. Good communicator – written and verbalAbility to travel up to 10%Ability to work interchangeably in Windows and Linux environmentsNetworking expertVoIPFirewalls, Switches and RoutersStrong networking knowledge TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, & SMTP24/7 on call
