System Analyst-Centricity EMR (3 positions)

Yonkers, NY



Position Description: The primary focus for this role is the implementation, maintenance, support and ongoing training associated with ambulatory Centricity EMR.

Changing screens as per specifications.

Writing reports as per specifications.

Analyze and record patient flow in user areas.

Workflow analysis and workflow re-engineering.

Create specifications for various changes.

Writing queries to validate system setup, reports.

Document test plans.

Execute test plan.

Support and maintain EMR system.

Design and change other system components as per specifications.

Design and implement various interfaces.

Prepare training material and train end users on EMR system.

Provide system go-live support.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with emphasis on health care in systems analysis.

Experience with Centricity EMR (Logician) application preferred.

HL/7 Interface protocol a plus (registration, clinical data).

Medical terminology, medical records background, practice management experience or systems installation background a plus.

Expertise with healthcare business processes and associated clinical application software a plus

Working knowledge of any programming language a plus.

Ability to analyze a problem and come up with a solution.

Knowledge of Crystal Reports preferred.

Excellent communication and written skills.

Ability to work under pressure.

Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.

Experience developing and/or maintaining any of the EMR systems a big plus.

Ability to change screens and system tables using any commercially available tools is a big plus.

Prior training experience also preferred.

SQL and or oracle proficiency a plus but not necessary.

Hardware knowledge.

Must possess knowledge of healthcare operations and its business.
