Systems Analyst

Payformance Corporation is currently seeking a seasoned Systems Analyst to work with and develope application software specifications, designs and requirements.Essential FunctionsSupports the Director in the development of standard processes and procedures, not limited to, requirements gathering and implementation guidelines. Coordinates with the Business Analyst to create Business Process Models and Use Cases to support the business requirements as articulated by the Business owners. Works with business analyst to define and create system requirements on the “how” of the implementation from the business requirements for internal and external projects utilizing Enterprise Architect.Reviews design documents with Architect to ensure business design requirements are adequately reflected.

· Responsible for ensuring that all documentation accurately reflects the current status of changes and outstanding issues so that business design requirements reflect the proposed or current PaySpan application features and functions. Follows established change request process by completing change request form, adding to tracking system and verifying changes were applied to system successfully.Interacts with other analysts, PMs, Client Support, production support, developers, report designers,  customers, and partners to decipher business and design requirements and product enhancements.  General understanding of inbound and outbound data mappings between customer/partner data files and the PaySpan system determined by Data Analyst and understand how those mappings impact the business design requirements.Analyze the results of testing prior to the Quality Assurance department as it appears in the User Interface.

· Troubleshoots development or production issues, as needed, and documents analysis and results.

· Analyzes discrepancies in service or performance and makes recommendations for updates. Analyzes and documents the integration of hardware and software interfaces.Thoroughly understands and maintain system UML documentation.  This would include use case, activity, interaction, state, component, and deployment diagrams.

Requirements

1.  Three to Five years of directly related experience.

2.  Demonstrated understanding of software development processes and methodologies.

3.  Advanced project documentation skills and a demonstrated ability to manage analysis activities for large software development projects.

4.  Ability to assess own strengths and weaknesses and pursue training and career development opportunities on own initiative.

5.  Analytical and organizational skills

6.  Excellent communicator, clear and concise

7.  Good comprehension skills, has the ability to see the “big picture”
