POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Diagnose problems with software (Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite & Third Party Programs)

Diagnose problems with hardware (PC desktop, laptop or server)

Apply software patches / upgrades & assist users in accessing company-wide internet, intranet & enterprise-wide system

Respond to user requests as needed

Ability to design & architect Microsoft-based infrastructure solutions (includes Active Directory, SQL server, all current operating systems, etc.)

Required to be a part of on-call (out of hours) support rotation

Understand & work with Microsoft Active Directory, administration, creation of user accounts & Internet E-mail

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2005 & VMWare

Understanding of basic networking, Ethernet, TCPIP & remote communications

7+ years experience in Systems Support

Fluent in Microsoft Windows technology

Knowledge of Macintosh OS 9, OS X & fixing Apple hardware a plus

Lotus Notes Systems Engineering experience required

Excellent communication, time management & problem solving skills

Bachelor's degree a plus
