Systems Group Assistant

Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who enjoys multi-tasking, working with a high-energy team and who is comfortable within a systems/technology environment. This position provides administrative support within our Systems Division. A variety of duties include; schedule & prepare department meetings, answer phone calls, order supplies, maintain calendars, run reports, maintain equipment inventory, distribute mail and respond to internal and external inquiries. This position will also coordinate critical operational maintenance which includes working with vendors for purchase and contract orders as well as assist with developing emergency procedures within the firm.

Job Requirements:
Candidates must have a High school diploma or equivalent; some administration or business courses helpful and at least one year of secretarial or administrative experience, preferably within the financial services industry. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required; experience with Microsoft Access and PowerPoint a plus. Candidates must have ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality; be self-motivated; have strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail; excellent communication skills; ability to work under time constraints; strong customer service orientation; and capability to work effectively within a team environment.
